A group of ATIC clinician-researchers with support from JDRFA have published the Australian guidelines for care pathways for people with early-stage type 1 diabetes. The Australian guidelines were developed concurrently with the international ‘consensus guidance for monitoring individuals with islet autoantibody‑positive pre‑stage 3 type 1 diabetes’.

The international consensus paper was published in both the Diabetologia and Diabetes Care journals in June 2024.
