Explainers NewsThe ATIC Community Engagement Panel has led the development of a powerful new video resource designed to raise awareness about the benefits of immunotherapy for type 1 diabetes. The video aims to inform both health professionals and the broader community about how disease-modifying treatments can help preserve insulin-producing cells and change the future of type 1 diabetes care.
Co-writing the script and recording voiceovers, the ATIC Community Engagement Panel have ensured the resource reflects the voices of Australians living with type 1 diabetes. Their insights helped shape a message that is not only educational but deeply personal, highlighting the hope that immunotherapy research offers to people diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and their families.
